It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of GHYCZY, a boutique family company that has been producing high-end design furniture for over 50 years.

GHYCZY’s founder, Peter Ghyczy, started the company in the Netherlands in the 1970s with the aim of creating unique, handmade pieces of furniture that were both functional and beautiful.

Over the years, GHYCZY’s designs have inspired many other designers and influenced generations of furniture makers. Peter Ghyczy was always ahead of his time, and his designs were often futuristic and cutting-edge. He was a true innovator, and his vision has left an indelible mark on the world of design.

GHYCZY’s furniture was all handmade in the Netherlands, using only the finest materials and the most skilled craftsmen. The attention to detail was second to none, and each piece was a work of art in its own right. This dedication to quality and craftsmanship is what set GHYCZY apart from other furniture companies and made it so highly regarded in the design world.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, suppliers, and employees who have supported us over the years. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved, and we know that GHYCZY’s legacy will live on through the many designers who have been inspired by our work.

Although our journey may be coming to an end, we know that the impact of GHYCZY’s designs will be felt for many years to come.
