This late 20th century garden chair is one of Peter Ghyczy’s most acclaimed design pieces as he designed and produced the collectable chair in 1969, using only polyurethane. The chair features a striking dynamic design, that resembles sand-coloured dune mounds. The organic design is further elevated by the golden hue of the lacquered surface. Ghyczy wanted to design a functional yet aesthetic garden chair with an organic form that was made to be rain resistant. This iconic GHYCZY product has now become a vintage piece, that showcases Ghyczy’s technical expertise with polyurethane.
